Our commitment to excellence extends to our operation theatre (OT) setup. Established in the early 1980s, the OT was designed and equipped specifically for trauma and spinal surgeries. Over the years, we've continuously adapted and upgraded our facilities to reflect advancements in the field.
In the 1990s, we were among the first in India to acquire intra-operative fluoroscopy from Siemens, a significant leap forward in surgical precision. Today, we boast separate modular OTs dedicated to specific procedures – one for joint replacement surgery, another for eye surgery, and a separate OT for septic cases.
Furthermore, a dedicated UPS system safeguards equipment and procedures during potential power fluctuations. Essential equipment like pulse lavage, electronic tourniquets, and specialised power saws are readily available to facilitate successful joint replacement surgeries.
Recognising the growing prevalence of arthritis and eye problems, particularly among the elderly, Chakraverty Clinic established a dedicated centre to address these needs. This centre provides comprehensive care for arthritis, osteoporosis, and eye conditions under one roof, offering patients the convenience of a super-speciality clinic. The centre boasts a team of highly trained doctors and skilled staff, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care. Separate operating theatres, designed and equipped specifically for these specialised procedures, further enhance patient outcomes. The centre regularly organises dedicated camps and educational programs to ensure ongoing knowledge exchange and benefit patients and healthcare providers.
